Cross country road trip – Day 3

If you don’t believe in God, go to Yosemite. The magnitude of the rocks, valleys, and well basically everything was incredible! The only time I’ve ever felt that small was when I stood on the side of Mt Rainier during sunrise on a Sunday morning.

The hazard of road tripping in October is the weather, and unfortunately she’s been on our backs this whole trip! I woke up at the crack of dawn to Brice’s face grinning ear to ear. Imagine a kid in a candy shop, on Christmas morning, or at Disney World. A soft whisper of ‘Hey, can we get packed up and hit the road??’

As we drove into Yosemite, clouds were rolling and rain started trickling down but none of that mattered! We had arrived. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

We finished up the day strong- sunbutter and jelly sandwiches from the back of the Jeep to kick off an all-night 12 hour drive to Phoenix!
